I tried beignets homemade once and they tasted like a greasy, lump of a mess. Yours look light and fluffy - which doesn't surprise me at all! We got hooked on them when we lived in New Orleans.

Graeter's is the best ice cream around. I do know for a fact that they do not hack at large piece of chocolate. I have been in the factory many of times. I have even had the honor of eating ice cream right out of the 2 gallon mixer with the owner who is a good friend. It is liquid chocolate that they use.

Yum! I was lucky enough to get to sample some of the chicken noodle soup and it's a perfect cold weather comfort food!! Personally, not a fan of Skyline, but Graeter's can't be beat!
